Pitter d.o.o. (Pitter Croatia) places great importance on the accessibility of its digital services. We aim to ensure that our website is easily accessible to all users and that it complies with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of the Republic of Croatia.

Status of Compliance with the Requirements

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements in accordance with conformity level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a. Incompatibility with accessibility requirements

Keyboard navigation & focus visibility: Some elements and navigation areas are not fully operable via keyboard or lack a clearly visible focus indicator.
Color contrasts: Some elements – due to the corporate design – do not have sufficient contrast against the background.
ALT texts: Some images lack alternative texts or contain uninformative descriptions.
HTML & semantics: Certain structural HTML elements (e.g. landmark elements) are not consistently present, which makes orientation more difficult for users of assistive technologies.
Heading structure: Some headings are not correctly marked up (H1-H2-H3).
Screen reader compatibility: Due to missing or incorrect aria-labels and “skip-to-content” links, usage with screen readers is suboptimal.
Forms & error messages: Forms and error messages are currently not properly detected by screen readers (aria-describedby).

b. Disproportionate burden

PDF documents: Older PDF documents created before the current legal requirements came into force are not accessible.
Moving content: Automatically rotating image sliders or animated logo carousels cannot be paused.

We are working to provide accessible versions of documents in the future. For existing content, we are happy to provide accessible alternatives upon request.

c. Content not covered by applicable legislation

Archived content: Certain multimedia content and PDF documents published before 28 June 2025 are considered archived and are not accessible.
External content and embedded third-party services (e.g., embedded maps or third-party plugins).
